Piping hot coffee Silence of snowflakes falling Through the holidays T he essence of what society has built and classified as the holidays gives most of us this sense of peace, time off, and wintery-Christmas theme. Mysterious smell Progressively expanding Lingering about  T rying to figure out where the mysterious smell was coming from, while practicing mindfulness and writing a haiku in the moment. Clouded turbulence Homebound facing horizon Fleetingness voyage Stuck in an airplane, bound to the seat, with nothing but the views of clouds and destinations in mind. It can sometimes feel like the best feeling, like the right way to feel in between. Swift deafening winds Deep within lush cedar bog Drowns the natures song Hiking through Cedar Bog, practicing mindfulness and connecting with nature through the simple breath. Fuji, I had encountered many obstacles that were very challenging, however I was able to thrive off my motivation. My senses were elevated, to a level I had never experienced. While reaching the top, I had noticed this silence I have never knew existed, and from there I knew I had conquered both the mountain, and my own mind and bodies capabilities. While descending, it was getting very dark, and uncertainties had followed. My mood changed from experiencing euphoria, to the dark unknown of the cliffs.
